Today was another fun day in the surf as people are catching blues and kingfish mixed in with the occasional skate and big cownose ray. I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Tony for a few hours in the mid afternoon we did hook up a few blues. The highlight of my day is when I had my rod almost launch into the water. I grabbed it and had a steady fight for about 45 minutes, it turned out to be a big ray about 40 pounds, we lost him in the last wave to the shore but it was a fun time regardless. Not to many people fished inshore but there are still plenty of crabs. One recreational crabber had 1 bushel of crabs with only 4 crab pots.
