Today the flooding was worst than yesterday as you can see from the pictures below. But it has gotten better after the high tide this afternoon, the wind has laid down so that has helped tremendously. Galen Halteman from Montgomery County, PA caught a keeper flounder 19 inches morning around 9:30 on squid at the beach on a new rod Daiwa 7 ft surf combo he bought here the day before. Beach anglers had to walk through the water to get to the beach. Many little kids were boogie boarding and playing in the puddles left by the weather and tides. According to the Weather Channel, astronomical high tides associated with the recent full moon cycle and the upcoming highest tides of the year are contributing to the high surf also associated with Florence.
