Day three of Captain Steve's Annual Rock Fish Surf Fishing Tournament ended in torrential rain. Some hard core anglers like the Over the Dune Gang, Rick Ashman and Ed and Bonnie were late hour hold outs looking for the big one. Conditions like rain, wind from the east, rough water and high tide seemed a perfect combination for the rocks. Unfortunately no rockfish were registered but several fish were caught. Chuck caught and released a 22 inch rock while Rick V caught and kept and 18 inch red drum Also caught and released today were two star gazers. We saw a great turnout for the tournament this year thanks to all those who particiapated we really appreciate it.
Also updated there is a money tournament that runs until Dec. 10th at 5:00pm the cost is %2420 to enter. The heaviest 3 fish will place, any angler can place more than once. Sign up at Capt. Steves
Mr. Roland and Mrs. Lin caught these two nice yellowfin from Pangas today out of La Playita, just north of Cabo. They are having a great time%21 The yellowfin were estimated at 70 and 80 lbs
