Here are some ponies and riders this time of year you see a lot more ponies on Assateague

Surf fishing conditions improved considerably today over yesterday's wicked wind and strong undertow. In general conditions were good except for some sea grass that floated in for only about an hour in the morning. As far as the fishing - once again the blues were in and out. Anglers along the beach experienced spurts of bites and catches up and down the line as the blues came through. The larger blues %2812" - 18"%29 seemed to be biting on mullet rigs while the smaller blues were hitting cut bait. Mr Tony even managed to squeak out a kingfish. It was a beautiful day for the horses and riders as well. No endangered species here%21
I also got an e-mail from Tim from Jessup of the type of snake that was slithering around the surf here a link to tell you page that has some info abou it http://www.parcplace.org/GreenSnake.pdf
