Leo O. caught this 9 pound rockfish fishing nearby...
After taking the weekend off, the Over the Dune Gang came back to the beach on a fishin mission. Leo started it off with a 31 inch rockfish that he caught on a fishfinder rig with peeler crab. He soon landed another rock that was short at 25 inches and was released. Shortly after the two rockfish were caught, Rick V hooked up with a black drum that put up quite battle. The drum weighed in at 32 lbs and was also caught on peeler with a fishfinder rig. The Gang also caught several kingfish and a giant stingray. BTW-if you're driving on the beach, be careful and make sure you have your shovel. The sand is unusually difficult to maneuver through after the very busy beach traffic weekend. Holly L. caught a 28 pound black drum and Liz C. had one weighing in at 27.5 pounds the pictures will be up tomorrow. My CF card will not work at the house so I have to use the USB cable to upload the photos. Congrats of the fish ladies%21
