NEW TIDE CHARTS WITH FREE MAP AND REGULATIONS NOW IN...
With the summer heat going strong the bite continues to be hot. It seems as if the croakers are on the verge of breaking wide open in the back bays with some nice runs of schools of croaker reported, but not yet quite the numbers of fish we expect for when the croakers really show up. The Bluefuin Tuna bite continues to be hot at the Parking Lot with Capt. Jim Mouton being one of the first to try the chunk out there and he pulled in 7 Tuna. It seems as if most of the Mahi-mahi are being brought in a little deeper off shore. The wrecks are also doing really well right now with a lot of Sea Bass at the further Wrecks, and Spade, Trigger and Flounder a little closer in @ the wrecks. We have our New Tide Charts that will take you from July- January 2012. There are also a few informational things added on the back of the map, the most important being the difference between Mature and Immature Female Crabs. Remember Crabs have to be 5inches from point to point…all Males and Immature Female crabs that are 5” are legal. Anything under or mature females must be released.
