Holly L. with her 28 pound black drum from 2 days ago with Rip watching. Nice Job

Today was a picturesque day on the beach. The water was clear with light winds from the south west. Many anglers ventured out to try there luck. Jimmy and I hit the beach early this afternoon. Our luck was not so goodwith only a few skates and one ray. We were greated by the OTDG's as they ventured out on the ORV zone. Lucky Chucky lost a good size drum. Leo again kept up his good luck within 10 mins of first cast Leo landed this nice 25 lb black drum. The drum is pictured above. He also had two nice drum spit the hook in the second wash. One time his sinker almost hit his truck%21 Speaking of trucks here's one for the archives. After Jimmy departed my company, I hooked up with a 29 in 6.4 lb blue. I was then talked into riding along with local legend Gunter. We headed out onto the ORV zone and got a few bites I landed two more fair blues. Then a rogue wave caught us by suprise and covered the dry sand under a dodge ram with a 5.7 liter hemi. As we proceeded to try an move it to higher ground Gunter hit the gas and proceeded to dig the truck to china. We dugand dug and dug some more, placed boards and pushed to no avail. It was no other than a ford to the rescue. A kind hearted fisherman Bob and Ruth from PA. They gave it their all but were unable to remove the dodge.... Now more digging.... After an hour or so we summoned to get professional help and called the Assateague island ranger service. They came with a truck which pulled in tandom with Bob and Ruth's ford. Still to no avail the truck was still stranded. We then summoned yet another ranger, who by the way had the day off. His truck came equipped with a winch. After 5 minutes of his arrival the dodge was freed from what everyone was thinking was its grave. Also hindering the removal process of the dodge was the tide that was coming in and slowly engulfing the truck. With the truck pulled to safety we headed home. When we reached the parking lots %28FINALLY%29 we then realized one of the front tires was flat. When it goes bad it really goes bad. Thanks to all who helped with this ordeal. Remember don't get guntered. Always lower air pressures in your tires, drive gently on loose sand, and for pete's sake don't park your truck where it can get engulfed by a rogue wave.
Pictures to be posted of the ordeal tomorrow
