Inshore fishing with Dave Seaman on Bucktails Charter Fishing morning charter they hooked a lot of croaker, kingfish, flounder, and a huge sting ray according to Michael White and crew. In this picture is his fiance and one of the flounder they caught.
The weather was excellent, the people were great and the fishing was awesome. They e-mailed and said they would recommend Captain Dave Seaman for any future trips. Raymond Bowser had a a 16.5 flounder and 2 nice king fish last night off the surf. Rick said the fishing was real slow out there this morning. Few spot, croaker and the usual culprits - skate and rays. king fish and blues took the morning off. It was a busy day here at the shop a lot of people are coming for the licenses and buying minnows and of course firework with the fourth coming people are stockpiling on them. The croaker have shown up and shown up in large numbers. Today most of them were caught in front of Curtis Merritt Harbor and the deeper Chincoteague Channel Daiseys Dockside to Capt. Bobs, they hit fishbites the best Capt. Dave Seaman said they were inhaling them, shrimp was their second favorite bait and then squid. Tonight the surf fishing went pretty well. Capt. Wayne Lewis on the %5Burl%3Dhttp://www.chincoteague.com/wonderfull%5DWONDERFULONE%5B/url%5D had over 70 croakers on his afternoon trip they did manage 1 flounder but it was too small. Jason Brown and Kai Gomes were impressed that Capt. Wayne baited and unhooked their fish and can not wait to go fishing again. The action was nonstop and everyone had a good time here are 2 anglers that went on the trip pictured below.

Outlaw 3 had a yellowfin 40 inches and bluefin 35 inches and 3 dolphin the biggest being 15 pounds. Yellowfin and 3 dolphin were caught east of the Lumpy Bottom and the bluefin at the Parking Lot.

The citation bluefin was 100 pounds on the dot caught by Dave Kavanah chunking on Go Your Own Way at the 30 fathom line. They also had 2 dolphin and a 45 pound yellowfin tuna.

Capt. Fred Gilman on %5Burl%3Dhttp://www.chincoteague.com/reeltime/%5DREEL TIME%5B/url%5Dalso cleaned up today with 7 bluefin the kept one, had a dolphing, 1 bluefish, and even one wahoo the first one I've heard of this year. The party is pictured below with their catch.
