Todays fishing conditions were what we call a little brutal with sustained winds of 35 miles and hour but the die hards ventured out to the beach anyways. Mr. Tony caught 3 bluefish 15-18 inches and also raked up a few clams on the backside of Assateague, Chuck had a 17 inch kingfish and a few blues. Tonight there was mostly sharks brought off the surf and a few kingfish. The best fish brought in today was a 20 inch speckle trout by Luke Ashman pictured below first one posing and the second getting ready to eat the fish%21%21%21
The Annual Chincoteague Island Chili Chowder Cookoff will be held behind Don's Seafood on Main Street in Chincoteague Island, VA. A live band, arts and crafts vendors, and boat rides will be a few of the offerings. The main attraction is the food---lots of it%21%21 Little Miss Chili Pepper and Little Mister Hot Stuff will be chosen to represent the event. is tomorrow 10 am %E2%80%93 4 pm and a lot of psople have started to show up for the weekend already.
