The surf was pretty good this morning from 6 am and
slacked off a bit around 1 pm. One angler from
Pocomoke had around 7 kingfish and 4 trout. A few blues also showed up in the late morning taken on finger mullet. In offshore action the "Testudu" a 28' Bertram had 3 nice tuna a 54 inch 130 pounder, a 48 incher, and a 46 inch all bluefin caught on ballyhoo. Inshore slowed down a bit, there are netters in the bay. Croaker were still the most common caught fish and even a few flounder were taken although most of them were small. We have gotten in "Shipwrecks of Virginia" and "Shipwrecks of Maryland and Deleware" these books will give you all the information and history of a lot of wrecks around here.
