Ray Jones from Exmore pulled this keeper out of Four Mouths yesterday fishing with Mr. Snyder.
Happy Birthday to Gemma she turned 2 and is finally learning how to use the computer. Jerzey and Gemma are Capt. Steve's official greeters.
Sarah P W. holds up her catch of bluegill fishing with dad Ryan.
Mark and Ott Hart from Baltimore, MD had a good morning fishing with Captain Charlie on the Island Queen today with six fish caught and four keepers at 20.5", 21.25", 21.5" and 21.75" in Assateague Channel. These guys are doing finishing work at night on our new Bridge and decided to play during the day! Now is the time to get on some of the larger fish the area has to offer.
Fishing has been a little tough after this past front moved in. Anglers fished hard to bring in some keepers the last 2 days. The winds look to be better and so does the fishing. We have plenty of Big minnows. Off the surf Nathan and friends caught 9 skates and 3 dogfish. On a more positive surf note this is the time of year that drum start to arrive. I got a call earlier this evening from JT Bolding he spotted the first dogwood blooms of the season. As a seasoned surf fishing guide he said when the dogwoods start to bloom you can count on the drum being there like clockwork. I am encouraged by his words of wisdom. Now lets get out there and catch some fish!
