Allen, Luke, Tanner Mitchell and crabby John with a boat full of dolphin caught on light spinning rods at the Washington Canyon. They also had a nice white marlin release.
Jennifer Knaub fishing with Mason and Capt. Ken on "The Hot One". Yes, the girl out fished the boys today with two trigger fish and 3 bluefish seven miles out. Hoping to make dad proud.
Brian also reported the first red drum today off the surf of the fall that he unfortunately lost in the wash. A good sign of things to come. There also have been some snapper bluefish around. If you want to catch these fish take some mullet rigs out with finger mullet. Spot have been hit and miss use bloodworms and fishbites for your best chance of hooking up. I am fishing the Little Hatteras Surf Tournament with the Assawoman Anglers. It is already a good time and I'll post some pictures soon. Good Luck Fihsing!
