Bobby Umphlett and Emerson Liscum caught these 2 channel bass on the bayside on august 31using live bait.
Bobby and Nick were clamming with friends and did really well in the Chincoteague Bay.
Justin got this bullfish using a spear.
Fishing in the Assateague Channel there have been some nice croakers being brought in. Still flounder coming in from the shallows on half tide, one group had 5 keepers this morning off the dock. In the bay there are some blowfish starting to show up along with some small seabass, flying fish, skates, and blues. The surf has picked up and will with the upcoming storm with bigger waves and ripcurrents. I'll keep you posted as the storm draws nearer, it looks like we are going to get some winds 20-40 and 40% chance of rain from the last time I checked. Lets hope for the best, the weather has been beautiful te past few days we will see maybe the storm will actually help. Tomorrow morning looks to be the worst weather that we will have with the winds subsiding by late afternoon. Thats the update for now.
