Sunday morning Andrew Burnell from NoVA had this nice 21"er and Margo Hoftijzer from the Netherlands had this nice 19-1/2"er aboard the Chincoteague View with Capt. Mike. There are still some nice flounder around but you have to put back a lot of small ones before you get to a keeper. The croaker bite had slowed for a few days but it picked up a little today(Wed.). We're hoping it continues to get better. Thanks Capt. Mike for the report. In other good news the ORV zone was open for about a mile and a half. Surf fishing continues to produce a mix bag of kingfish, spot, and croaker along with some sharks and rays. We had plenty of rain and the weather has cooled up a bit. In offshore action the Iland Ho scored a released white marlin and some dolphin on Tuesday. Croakering has picked up once again in the rain yesterday one group of anglers had close to 30 fishing the Memorial Pak Pier finding some shelter under the pavilions. Thats the report for now if you have any pictures send them in and you too can be featured on the website. Tight Lines.
