Its been a good few days around here and we even had some rain. A lot of rain on Thursday for a few hours but fishing was still good before and after the showers. There are still plenty of croaker in the bay which has been great for all who like the steady action. Off of TOm's Cove Pier there was a 22 inch flounder taken on 6 pound test, the same group also pulled in some croakers, kingfish, searobins, and skates. In the surf there has been a mix of panfish spot and kings mostly with some bluefish in the mix too. The bigger pullers this time of year are the rays and sharks. Make sure to have some wire leader for the sharks and blues if you get bit off using mono rigs. Bloodworms have been the bait of choice on surfball rigs followed by fishbites bw and shrimp. Still cut bait is best if you are looking for sharks, rays, and skates. We are well stocked with all you fishing need. LIVE MINNOWS, BLOODWORMS, and the largest selection of frozen and artificial bait too. Get out and Go Fish. School is about to start up so enjoy Summer. Tight Lines!
