Blake Young from Newport News caught this citation flounder 27'' 7.1 pounds fishing off Memorial Park Pier after he came to Captain Steve's and got geared up. Congrats.
Fishing continues to be good in Chincoteague. The Wilson Gang from WV had 4 keepers and caught around 40 flounder today and craokers and 2 rays too. Capt. Jim from the "Drager Group" took the girls out fishing today. They had countless number of croaker all the croaker they could land mixed in with some flounder, shark, and even an oyster toad. The croaker seem to be in pods when you find one, most likey there will be others with it. The flounder are found right on the banks when you can find the dropoffs. In the surf action cntinues to be with spot and kingfish. The action is on and off on the beach this afternoon anglers did well with kingfish and caught spot right past the first breaker.
