Jason and Mark were put onto the fish by Capt. Ken they caught a coolerful of triggerfish and spadefish after catching plenty of croaker inside the Chincoteague Bay to start the day.
Capt. Tim Helman and Jim Bremer abaord the Habeas Porpoise with an 80 pound bluefin caught trolling horse bally on an islander at the Parking Lot they also had Mahi Mahi too.
Capt. Brett abaord "Driftaway" Charters fished today with great conditions, just the fish weren't told about it. They caught some shorts and 1 19 inch keeper. Lost over a dozen big fish that just came off hook before they got to the surface. Strange conditions.
Preston Wilhelm with his 19 inch flounder. Pres has been on a roll lately with keepers every trip he makes. Bare minnows worked well today.
Keven Dreher from NJ caught and released a white marlin abaorad a charter with White Lightning with Capts. Frank and Jay trolling they also had a nice dolphin too yesterday.
The pinhead croakers have arrived in the bay, they have been caught in the inlet, Queen Sound, and around Tom's Cove Campground Pier. In the surf team Dan and Ann loaded up on kingfish and spot today using the EC surfballs. Other anglers experienced similar success using the smaller surfball rigs tipped with bloodworms and fishbites bw. Still flounder being caught int he bay although you have to go through a lot of throwbacks to get a keeper. This has been a great summer. Tight Lines!
