Its been busy here on the island as most the schools are now out. Families are coming down and enjoying the island life. Crabbing has been going well and is a good activity for people of any age. It is easy to do and inexpensive so if you are looking for a way to spend a few hours and catch dinner we can help you out. The wrecks have been pretty productive here lately producing a nice variety of fish, with the water warmer we are seeing the spadefish and triggers starting to show up in more numbers. Inshore anglers are still targeting flounder and kingfish near the inlet; flounder are still biting in spurts persistance is key. Fishbites bloods and shrimp have been the best baits. Off the surf the kingfish action has been best the past 2 nights from around 4-7pm. We have the newest in Gulp which arrived yesterday the Gulp mudminnow/croaker you have to see these baits they look good. We have been staying busy here at the shop. I would like to congratulate my wife Jessica who has jusy finished with her teaching degree and was just hired as a 3rd grade teacher for the Accomack County Schools, I am very proud of you and all your hard work has paid off.
