Here is a sunset shot taken aboard Driftway Charters on a recent cruise. It is alwasy nice to get out on a boat and see all the natural beauty that Chincoteague has to offer.
Fishing continues to go good although there are a lot of throwbacks too. Action off the surf has mostly consited of kingfish whiting, sharks, skates, and rays too. In the bay flounder is still the most common fish targeted. The East Coast flounder rig in the pink mylar has been doing well tipped with gulp and minnow combo. Also smelts have been producing some nice fish too. We have live bloodworms nice minnows and the largest selection of frozen baits too.
