Linda Verlinghieri with 4# flounder she had Saturday afternoon. She outfished her husband, "Philadelphia" Mike and he taught her how. We had 3 flounder that afternoon between 18-1/4 and 18-7/16". The fish we're catching are eating well on crabs, baitfish, and lots of grass shrimp so the should be big enough to come home for dinner soon.

Johnny Roberts, Sr., Johnny Jr & Johnny III from Taneytown, MD fished with Captain Charlie on the Island Queen on Saturday and managed two keepers. Pap and Grandson both scored fish while Jr. only caught the smaller ones. It was Johnny III's first trip flounder fishing and he caught his first flounder and the biggest keeper of the day at 19", Sr's was 18.75". We had about six throwbacks and got into a Bluefish frenzy in front of the harbor landing 9 of them. I only had one bucktail on the boat and let them take turns until we had enough!

Bill Pond from Manassas, VA with a nice flounder he had Monday morning. We caught 20 flounder that morning but only this one made the cut off. we're seeing more small fish less than 15" than a month ago, which is typical as the water warms up. Had our 1st seabass over the weekend but haven't seen a croaker yet. We're dragging up lots of small mussels in the grass clumps which we're hoping will bring the croaker in since it's one of there favorite foods.
