The last two days the weather has been windy and while the beach has been great as usual, fish were rare on the surf. It was fun trying to catch them. I had many bites today and manged one throwback flounder before the storm arrived causing everyone to leave the beach. At the National Wildlife Refuge it is a free weekend meaning no entry fee. Come enjoy the sun sand and surf! The crabbing has been great. Come get your crabbing chicken necks and lines. In the back bay the grass is still around. Find clean water and you will definitely find fish. There are still a few makos being caught off shore. We also have in our new snag-less sinkers which are great for flounder fishing. We also have all our sputniks back in stock. These are the surf sinkers with the best holding power. A few anglers did well fishing the Chincoteague Channel near Inlet View. Pittsburgh Rick has had a few keepers fishing from land. Thats the report for now. Tight Lines. In offshore news the yellowfin tuna did well at the Washington. The water was 64.5 degrees and the yellowfin were still biting. Trolling rainbow daisey chains with a green machine and rigged birds with green machine trailer on the WWB line did well. We just restocked on our gulp baits we have in all our small buckets.
Joann Wade's first legal flounder a 24 incher caught in the channel on minnows from Capt. Steves fishing with Paul, Nancy and Sambo this week.
Here is a picture of some of the new chic clothing and bathing suit coverups they got in at Swimsuit Station-Souvenir City this summer. If you want to look like a fashionista this summer-this is the place to go! Jes booked her modeling gig again this year...she is modeling the new rompers with front ruffles and pockets on both legs. They come in all colors ranging from coral, black, white, green, blue, lime green and teal. You can either get them in cotton/polyester or terry cloth. They also have a wide selection of bathing suits for men and women, jewelry, souvenirs, lotion and beach bags. Make sure to stop by located beside Captain Steves after you buy all of your bait and tackle supplies.

Rich Gonzoph caught these two flounders in Chincoteague Channel today. Using Cap't Steves smelts. He would of had more but the storm ran him off.
