Happy Mother's Dat to all the mothers out there. Here is Connie with a 34'' striper taken off the surf caught on live peeler and mod ff rig this afternoon. She wanted nothing better but to come ot Chincoteague and fish off the beach and Dogfish Frank made it happen. Frank also had a 30'' striper release and a bluefish too.
David Gring from Morgantown, PA with a 24'' 5.25 pound flounder caught aboard "Fin Crazy" with Chuck Carter. Fin Jerzey's pup brought Jerzey some mother's day treats which were enjoyed by Mom Jerzey.
Mark Bergkrist and John Sippel limited out on flounder for the second day in a row. They have 16 keepers in the past 4 days of fishing. The water has cleared up and we are looking forward to the better weather.
Matt E. got a jump start on the fish this morning he was done by 7:30 with a striper and a black drum off the beach caught on live peeler with a fishfinder rig.
Dan N. went out on a solo mission and limited out giving the fish the old clam and peeler sandwich this morning.

What a way to end their weekend with another pair of stripers and a black drum. Maureen and Gene got into them again tonight kept 2 and released 6 stripers! Great Job!
Hogfin Craig strikes again this time with a 32'' striper taken off the surf using live peelers and fishfinder rig!
Its been a great day here on the island. The flounder fishing has begun to pick up as the winds have finally calmed down. There is still some grass in the water despite that there were plenty of flounder caught. We have in live minnows, live peelers will be in by 8am tomorrow morning, also live seaclams will be in tomorrow Monday afternoon. live bloodworms, and the largest selection of frozen baits too squid, smelts, silversides etc.
