Larry Lazelle and Matt Omatick. Both from York Pa. Had best flounder fishing day thus far fishing the outgoing tide at Four Mouths with 4 keepers to show for their efforts. They used the pink mylar East Coast flounder rigs tipped with minnows and smelt to do the trick. They also had around 6 throwbacks in an exciting day of fishing.

Grayson and Dad Don Turner from Richmond, VA fished this afternoon on the Island Queen with Captain Charlie on the incoming tide and Grayson managed two keepers, 18.5" and 19.25". These were the only two fish caught. Not bad for his first time ever fishing in salt water! It was a bit windy but the air temps hit 80 in the shade and the water temps were 60.7 - 62.9 all afternoon! They fished south around Wallops Island.
Tim with his keeper caught in the Assateague Channel just south of the Assateague Bridge.
We've been staying busy getting plenty of inventory checked in, including all your boating necessities needed to keep everyone legal and worry free on the water. Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather and the bite continues to be hot out there. We look forward to seeing you. Today was pretty windy and the only spot fishable was Assateague Channel. The boys from York PA were at it again today despite the high winds with a 16 foot flatbottom johnboat. They had 4 flounder with one keeper caught by Tim pictured above. We have in new bait containers for Berkley Gulp which are leakproof, these things work if you are Gulp fan you should consider in investing in one of these. Other products we are restocking are plenty of bucktail jigs, Calcutta hats, Anchor Lines, Life Jackets, Hip and Chest Waders, Braided and Monofilament Line, an expanded inventory of sunglasses(plenty of polarized to help you see better while fishing), Fillet knives, Fishing Books, Fishing Hooks, Bilge Pumps, Rod Racks, Minnow Buckets, and a lot lot more.
