Today the weather was overcast with light rain so I decided to go out to the beach. The surf was churned up and I took out some 6 oz sputnik sinkers and some size 2 red surfballs the sinkers held for the most part. I was the only person out there and picked up a small blue, kingfish, and one skate. I had both shrimp and spot the cut spot seemed to do the best today. We are awaiting more rain tomorrow and then it looks like Saturday afternoon it is going to clear up around here. I dont have any other reports to windy whitecaps in the bay.
