Rick V and Mr. Tony reported rough surf conditions again today with a strong undertow and quite a bit of sea grass. Despite the adverse conditions, they did manage to land a few snapper blues and a throw-back flounder. The parking lots remain closed and there is no ORV access, so it's necessary for anglers to lug their gear a good distance to the waters edge. Hope the parking lots will be plowed soon.
I heard a report of a nice keeper flounder being caught from the Memorial Park pier yesterday - angler and bait remain a mystery. Mr. Roland and I along with our friend Vince tried fishing for Rock in the back bay today - had a few hits, but landed no fish. Maybe tomorrow.
