Fishing from the beach has produced some good action with catches of bluefish, kingfish, skates, sharks, and some big reds too. Cut bait has worked best for the bluefish and drum. Bloodworms and shrimp have worked best for the kingfish. In the backbays we have seen a few more trout caught along with some flounder too. Crabbing is still doing well with people using traps catching dinner consistently.

The summer is officially behind us and Fall is upon us. Which means lets start gearing up for STRIPER, Red Drum, and Black Drum. The bluefish bite off the surf has been exceptional lately. We have FRESH BUNKER AND SPOT in right now. Stop in and get in on the action, but don't forget to mix up your rigs. There are still plenty of spot and kings around. The flounder bite in the bays seems to be picking up. Offshore Bob had a great day loading up on Mahi-mahi. Stop on in with any other questions u may have. Tight Lines*

Fishing has been hit and miss off the surf and the bay. The first keeper striper was brought in last night by Jacob Tietje fishing at Memorial Park. Today there were a few kingfish and croakers caught off the surf. The conditions have been getting better out on the surf. Overcast days are best for the bigger fish, don’t let cloud cover and rain scare you off as that is drum weather. We are still catching flounder in the back bays using minnows and gulp.
