With the recent full moon there has been some nice fish caught.  Offshore wrecks have been producing some tog and big blues too.  There are stripers off the beach as the birds have been working.  Thats the report for now.  A reminder the Atlantic Fire Company's Rockfish Tournament is slated for this weekend you can sign up at the shop.  Dinner is Friday night and is included in your entrance fee there is also raffles and free givaways.  Thats all for now.   Good Luck Fishing!

Back to the island not too many people fishing at the moment.  I talked to Capt. Mac and he heard of a 50'' caught eeling in the bay.  We have in fresh bunker brought in tonight.  Stop on in and GO FISH...

I called back to the shop to find out what was happening.  Capt. Tom said there were a few more rockfish caught and a lot of ducks around too.  I'll have some more pictures to post when I get back as I am currently in Lititz, PA visiting family.  The weather on the island is looking to be good tomorrow as the winds have slowed down.  Stop on in for all your fishing needs.  Tight Lines!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Capt. Steve's will be open tomorrow at 7am until 3pm tomorrow.  The Off Road Vehicles are allowed to drive onto the beach .  Others will be walking on from the Visitors Center.  Chincoteague has also been decorated for the upcoming holiday seasons.  If you come to the island check out all the lights on Main St. and Maddox.  Thats the report for now  Happy Thanksgiving once again and good luck Fishing!
