We had a great time although the beach fishing was not the greatest.  On Saturday after the blowout tide and slick calm waters only a few skates and ling were caught.  Sunday proved to be hard with the harsh winds and rain and only heard of one rockfish caught and lost coming in on the last break by Pat.  We have in fresh bunker and live eels.  Thanks for everyone who participated in the tournament, it is really good to have such a great group of friends.  There was a lot of storytelling and good food and drinks too.  Thats all for now.  Rick Volz ended up with a nice Tsuanmi Airwave and some other free prizes too.  Dave King took 2nd and 3rd with some nice rods from Tsunami and Bimini Bay Outfitters.

The first day of the surf tourney today was for the diehards.  Despite the harsh west winds we did have a good turnout.  There is a good group of fishermen hanging out at the shop exchanging all their fishermen secrets.  Tomorrow looks to be a better fishing day, stop on in and sign up for the free tournament.  It's been a good night we will be here at 7AM tomorrow morning.  Good Luck out there!

Stop on in for all your bait and tackle needs.

I have a few more pictures to post we had another citation come in yesterday.  Jim Moten had a 41 pound striped bass caught drifting here in Chincoteague.  Bill Guthier also had a 32 inch rockfish caught off a swimshad off his dock.  With the full moon the night fishing has been good for some local anglers too.  Today the winds were bad making fishing tough.  Looks like Sunday tomorrow is going to be a better day for fishing.  Thats the report for now.  I'll post some more pictures once I get my cardreader working right.  Tight Lines!
