The wind was blowing hard today and no one went offshore that I know of anyway. Many people did come in today and got butterfish for tomorrow, we should see some nice tuna coming in tomorrow.
SURF- Despite an extreme undertow this morning - even 6 and 8 oz triangles wouldn't hold - Mr Tony and I managed to get 2 kingfish and several sharks and skates. Mr Tony even landed a skate/shark double. Other anglers suffered the same undertow problems and many quit early. You should stock up on some heavier weights frog toungues and sputniks for days like these they are the only way you are going to be able to fish. In flounder fishing Arvel Givenn from Laurel, MD had a 4 keeper flounder day fishing off a pier at the end of South Main Street. Inshore today went so-so depending on who you talked to. Capt. Mack had around 50 croaker in his morning trip a lot of them being small.
