Ray with a nice rock off the surf this morning

Capt. Brett one of the only people out on a boat today got this one in the rain.

Ray M. from Harrisonburg, VA had a good day with a 34 inch 14 pound rockfish off the beach. There were also quite a few throwbacks caught, Don R. had 2 of them. Capt. Brett brought in a 29 incher fishing in the rain this morning. That%E2%80%99s it for tonight..Jimmy

Another chilly day out there. There are not to many people fishing, so I'm going to be updating the reports less frequently now. Feel free to e-mail me %40 info%40stevesbaitandtackle.com if you need any information.

I dont really have a report for today because no one went fishing maybe a couple went. I guess the cold weather discouraged a lot of people. Sue Keller did catch her first keeper rockfish ever today. They also had one take a lure according to Scott. The fish are still around and they will bite in this cooler weather. Sue K. and Scott with a 29 inch 9 1/4 pound rockfish.

I've been away from the shop all day. Frank Joyce caught his first keeper off the surf today in the ORV zone. Rick Ely did the best with one keeper 29 inches and 2 throwbacks. At the point Lucky Chucky caught some big skates, he said they wore him out. The currents were really strong at the point Leo O. sid he used 10 ounces and was having trouble holding out there. Tomorrow is another day good luck... Be sure to bundle up it looks to be getting colder.

Shane Whealton caught this 40 incher in the cove.

Rick Ely with a 29 inch 9 1/4 pound rockfish off the beach.

Frank Joyce with his first keeper off the surf a 36 inch 18 pounder caught on bunker.

Mark Conklin with a 39 inch 19 pound rockfish he caught drifting the inlet. Ron Wolff was suprised when he caught this 18 inch 2.5 pound flounder off the surf. Today bite seemed to be slower than the past 2 days. Lucky Chucky caught a 24 inch rockfish fishing the point. Con Heine had a 23 inch rockfish caught nearby at 4:00pm. They said they saw a nice blue around 2 foot released as well. Ron Wolff caught a short rock accompanied by a keeper flounder 18 inch, he also had a few more strikes fishing the North Beach. Rick Ely said the fishing was slow, but he was watching fish swimming in the waves. He is taking out a plugging rod tomorrow. I'm off to watch football good luck :%29

Had a call tonight the fish were hitting top water plugs thanks for the tip Dave S.
