The highlight of today was Jerzey's puppies they were born at Captain Steves this afternoon. You'll be seeing these pups around the next few weeks.

Ed and Nate from Pittsburgh PA landed these 20.5 inch twins in front of Tom's Cove. Thier friend Scott could not make the trip. They said "We caught this little one for you%21%21%21%21" If your allowed out, we'll let you catch one too%21%21

Charlie on June 2. Dave sid he only catches keepers proved it so as the other folks on the boat all caught about a dozen throwbacks.

Rick V. does it yet again%21%21%21
Today the surf went pretty good as Bob from Pocomoke had 4 kingfish a lot of skates and some shark that were around 3 foot long. Tonight Rick V. did it once again catching a 17 pound black drum on his brand new LamiGlass rod paired with a Penn 750ss.Tonight I got a chance to go out with Doug and my cousin Paul. All we had were a lot of skates I saw Dean C. catch a kingfish. The inshore fishing has been hit and miss. Assateague Channel seemed to do good in front of Toms Cove.

There were a 3 drum caught late yesterday afternoon off the surf using peelers. Also some flounder were picked up between Inlet View and Peyton Place in the Chincoteague Channel. Clark Whaley from MD had 3 keepers and caught 30 all together. The weather looks to be getting better. Today some flounder were caught in front of Memorial Park. The pier fishermen picked up some black sea bass, sharks, and a few skates.

Shark Tournament 2007. I'll have pdf's up in a couple of days for registration or just stop by the shop.

We carry the largest assortment of sinkers around. Sputniks hold the best from the surf. The frog tongue hold the best in a cross current. Tom Taylor does well in turbulent bottoms. The pyramid is the most common surf sinker it usually does the job. The disc sinker is popular for flounder fishing, its shape lets it skim the bottom. Bass casting sinkers work well when getting hung up as it can swivel out of structure. Egg sinkers are used to create a fish finder effect.

Pictured above is Sara Ross from De. with a 23 inch 4.5 pound flounder that she caught yesterday

Here is the Elvie, Sophia, and Shane with plenty of flounder they caught yesterday.

The weather has been overcast and raining on and off all day. Only 2 members of the OTdG made it out this morning fighting the northeast wind and rain. Mr. Tony and Rick V. caught a few kingfish and some sharks and skate. That is it for today.Jimmy

This is a must in every angler's tackle box. The worst part of the fishing trip is cleaning fish. Now Tackle Factory and Big Norm have come up with the fastest way for fishermen to clean fish without flying scales. Big Norm's Magic Fish Scaler has nineteen floating heads which lift and catch scales so they don't fly all over. It's the quick way to clean fish. There are no metal parts to rust and clean-up is a breeze.

This 6 foot mako was brought in yesterday on the "Hold On" with Capt. Allen Mitchell. They also landed a smaller blue shark assisting in the trip were Crabby John and Tom Tuna.

Mike Goodenough caught this nice 72 pound black drum last night fishing Kiptopeake. Bob V. also had one that weighed near 65 pounds.

Happy Birthday Christina my sister is 25. We had a good day here on the island although it was a bit windy. People hit the surf pretty hard, the best fish being caught were kingfish. Most people were usiung big hooks looking for Mr. Drum or Rock, i heard of 2 throwback rockfish taken. Flounder fishing went pretty good overall today talking to fishermen at the shop tonight. Crabbing was really good today as Brad S. caught 1/2 a bushel in an hour this morning. The ditches on the way to the beach have been holding a lot of nice crabs. We have a special 4 lines a net and bait for only %249.99. Another thing to think about while vacationing on the island is taking a nature cruise, we have a few local Captains who will be sure to entertain. Lets hope for some good weather.

It was a good day in the bay for many even though the winds were tough. People seemed to be catching most the flounder on white bucktails today. It was tough going in the surf today with south winds and dirty water. The Over the Dune Gang was out in full force but wasn't hitting any big stuff. Rick V was lucky to land a 16 inch trout and a kingfish while Mr Tony brought in a few kings. Chuck, Leo and Rick A pretty much struck out.

Shane Whealton with his 9.1 pound citation spadefish he caught on the bayside.
