fishing reports
The croaker fishing has slowed down in the past couple of days but the flounder bite still ocntinues to be consistent. Also sharks have been biting well in the back bays and just off the beach. (We have in fresh bunker and fresh spot too) Pete and Baltimore Brad made a trip Sunday and had 2 sharks with some nice pullage; check out our facebook fanpage for Pete's video of one of the sharks. Off the wrecks the fishing has been pretty steady some of our regulars did well on flounder and also well on spadefish and triggers too. Plenty of crabbing still going on as many people are catching dinner and having a good time doing it. The surf has produced some snapper bluefish along with the usual spot and kings too. Butterfly and cownose rays have provided some pullage along with some Dusky, Blackti[p, and Spinner sHARKS. Thats the report for now make sure to stop in for all your fishing needs and advice. Tight Lines!

Fathers Dan and Kevin from WVA took their daughters (5 & 7 yrs old) and Dan's niece(6 yrs old), who's father is in the Army and currently stationed in Iraq, for an afternoon of fishing on the Island Queen with Captain Charlie. The fishing started out a little slow due to the tide running hard so Captain Charlie took the girls out to the ocean to see the dolphins and boy did they get a good show. We came back to Queen Sound and the girls all hooked up on nice size croakers and Captain Charlie even kept them out longer than the two hour trip so they could all catch more fish.
Capt. Charlie with the Island Queen with a 4 pound trigger caught on the inshore wrecks.
Its been a few days as we now have anotherr server. Fishing is continuing to go great around here with steady action of croaker and flounder in the back bay. Josh the other rookie with one of many double headers.
The flounder bite in the bay has still been good along with croakers in the deeper channels. This is a great number of keeper flounder being caught for this time of the year. The wrecks are still doing great with the usual species as well(spadefish, triggerfish, and Seabass(Out Far)). Off the surf sunrise hours and twilight have been most productive. The EC surfballs have been the ticket tipped with bloodworms fishbites bw, shrimp, and squid. Tight lines

And Pony Penning Week has come and gone and once again the island didn't sink from the heavy traffic flow. The surf fishing continues to be producing good numbers of Spot, Kingfish, and Croaker with the occassional Blue run.....But the star of the surf report are the SHARKS they've been catching both in the bay and off the surf. Croaker fishing continues to be red hot in the bay with an unbelievable FLOUNDER bite going on as well. Off shore at the wrecks they have been hammering the Sea Bass. Spades, Trigger and Tog continue to be plentiful as well. Seems like the Yellow Fin bite has been hit and miss around the 30 line.with a mix of Whites, Blue Marlin, and some Big eye and Yellowfin out at the Canyon as well but it has been a little tough lately. Tight Lines*
