Sorry I didn't get a report posted last night..........feeling very much under the weather and fell asleep very early. In any case, here you go............

Monday Bay - I had a report from Capt. Charlie on the Island Queen. He fished a charter on Monday from 8am to 2pm and his crew caught one 18 1/2" flounder. They fished the incoming and outgoing tides, but their low catch was most likely due to the water looking like "chocolate milk", no doubt leftover conditions from the weekend Nor'Easter.

Tuesday Bay - Roland and I fished the 'Lil Lucky Dawg in the back bay for Rock. I had one nice pull which didn't come tight, and that was it for our short little excursion. The water was pretty clean other than a moderate amount of eel grass.

Tuesday Surf - Mr. Tony had a nice 16" Red Drum and several Snapper Blues caught on cut spot. Tom reported to me that a number of Snapper Blues were caught along with some Kingfish on Bloodworm.

Anyone interested in trying some crabbing back in the bay should do quite well right now. Put your pots out for the incoming tide and you should have a nice catch%21 If you have the time to sit and pick the meat, you should have a nice big pile in no time - the crabs are FAT this time of year. I did this a few weeks ago and I'll share my killer creamy crab soup recipe with you below:

1 lb. crabmeat
1/4 C. finely chopped celery
1/4 C. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 Tbsp. real butter
1 Qt. Half N Half
3 Tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce

Melt the butter over low heat in a large skillet and saute the onion and celery until clear and tender. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10-15 minutes. If you're a little short on crabmeat, or would like the soup to be a little thicker and heartier, you can add 2-3 Tbsp. Minute Rice and simmer a little longer till the rice is tender. It's YUMMY%21

Remember, this is the time to go through your Rockfishing gear and make a shopping list for all the items you'll need to catch the BIG ROCK which no doubt will be showing up in the near future. Stop by Capt. Steve's and Tom and Jimmy %28when he returns from Mexico with his BIG CATCH%29 will be happy to help you with all your fishing needs%21

Check back tonight for today's report%21
