There were quite a few anglers on Assateague's south beach today and numerous vehicles in the ORV Zone. There were a lot of familiar faces and a few newbys all angling for a rockfish or in some cases just a fish, any kind of fish. Rick A and Don found skates-a-plenty. The dirty water that was prevalent yesterday has cleaned up some so I guess the skates can see the bait better. The only "fish" reported this morning was a 19" rockfish that Rick V. landed.
