Another rainy day here on Chincoteague seems to be continuous. The inshore was pretty slow with only a few throwback flounder being reported. Tonight I got a chance to hit the surf with Chris Hanse from EMR Paintball%28 www.emrpaintball.com/ %29. We had a dozen skates he caught a 30 inch sandbar shark and i had a big ray. The action was pretty much nonstop as every time we casted we had something on or something took our bait. We were using 5 and 6 ounces as the surf has calmed down from days past.
The turn around is still not open but the is hope as the water seems to be receding. Bike Week is this week and we are seeing a lot of nice bikes rolling into town. I'll keep everyone updated on the ORV zone tomorrow is is suppose to be open as soon as I get any word I'll post it on here.
